There's a nice feature story in yesterday's Buffalo News about the Pivarunas family, dedicated competitive spellers. I was most struck by this photo. Everyone's dictionary should look like this!
Don't forget: today is the anniversary of the publication of Samuel Johnson's A Dictionary of the English Language, 15 April 1755. Celebrate! have a bowl of poonsh and look up "network."
